Muhammad Yasier Azmee
Hey there, my name is Yasier and I’m from Singapore. I’m currently in Egypt studying in Al Azhar University, taking a degree in Arabic Language. I came here since August 2016 and have been living here for nearly 6 months now😄
I’ve been learning formal Arabic (fushah) for almost 15 years and still learning. When i came to Egypt I had trouble communicating and understanding the locals here because they don’t use fushah instead they use amiyah (Egyptian dialect) most of the time. I wanted to learn so i did a research on it and found some tutorial videos on YouTube and the one that has helped me so much is the ArabicPod101; the Egyptian dialect lessons that are presented by Peryhan! She gives an example by forming a sentence for every word that she gives and will repeat the sentence slowly and clearly so that users can understand better. I even jot down some phrases and use it in my daily communication with the locals and they even compliment my dialect!😁 I encourage anyone who wants to learn Arabic, be it Egyptian dialect or formal Arabic, to subscribe to ArabicPod101 because the teachers are fun, friendly, creative and will make learning Arabic interesting!😁 |

I made the right choice by choosing to donate a dollar to your site. This is the first time I spent money & use my bank to enroll in a language tutorial site. Thank you! This is a big help for me because I am now learning the language I want to learn to improve my professional skill.

When i found this page i was really happy about, because I like a lot to learn languages, and arabic is one of my favourites to learn. The system is very good, the audios are wonderful and explain very clearly the most important parts of each lesson. PDF lessons help a lot as you listen to the audios, and of course to review later what you have learned. My congratulations for this creation.

ArabicPod101 makes learning Arabic easier than the other websites because i get email of new words everyday in my mailbox. Those words are accompanied with English meaning, transliteration and a picture that also describes the word. All of this aid makes it easy for me to understand the words and to be able to say them when necessary. This website is up to the task and that is why I choose to stick with it.

I do like these podcasts. I made especially good progress with the beginner series. I really like their format and the way they teach the language. It is done in a structured but casual format, which makes it easier to learn. The rapport with the three hosts is really good in the beginner series. It does give students a good starting point to build foundation to learn colloquial Arabic and explore the language without investing a lot of money for other courses (Pimsleur, Living Language, Michael Thomas).
