Hi everyone, my name is Prihan and this is the Egyptian Arabic weekly words. Let’s get on with today’s topic. We are going to talk about continents today.
1.
آسي ا
[ʾāsyaā] Asia
الصين و روسيا أكبر دول في آسيا.
["ālṣīn wa rūsyā ʾakbar dewal fī ʾāsyā."]
China and Russia are the biggest countries in Asia.
2.
أسترالي ا
[ʾusturālyaā] Australia
أستراليا مشهورة بحيوانات الكنغر.
[ʾusturālyā mašhūrah beḥayawānāt el-kanġar.]
Australia is famous for the kangaroos.
3.
أفريقي ا
[ʾafrīʾyā] Africa.
This one should be easy
أطول نهر في العالم موجود في أفريقيا.
[ʾaṭwal nahr fī el-ʿālam maūǧūd fī ʾafrīʾyā.]
The longest river is in Africa
4.
أمريكا الشمالي ة
[ʾamrīkā elšamāleyyah] North America.
أمريكا الشمالية متعددة الثقافات.
[ʾamrīkā el-šamāleyyah mutaʿaddedeh el-ṯaʾāfāt.]
North America is multicultural
5.
أوروب ا
[ʾūrūbbā] Europe
السفر في أوروبا ممتع جداً.
[ālsafar fī ʾūrūbbā mumteʿ ǧeddan.]
