| Meaning surely , sure, with no doubt , can be used to confirm your opinion, your approval to a proposal or suggestion, it can be used simply to show you agree with with someone or something. One word that very effective. |
| Roland: the next word will be (آدي, ʾādī) |
| Hala: this word can be used in both formal and informal situations, if someone is giving something you asked for, he will use it. It is more like ( There you are, sire.) or ( Here it is). In the restaurant, the waiter will use it all the time while giving your order, food or the rest of your money. |

| The possessive pronouns don’t change in Arabic, but when we use with the feminine form a (ta) sound will be added, because the ( ah ) sound we hear it the end of the feminine noun is what we call the( feminine ta ), its a T that is pronounced in certain cases, this is one of , because now its no longer at the end, but falls in the middle, remember we attach the possessive pronouns, thats why we will hear it . |
| so, if we take ( صورة, ṣūrah ), and add the possessive for I , which is ( ī ), the sound will not be ( ṣūrhi), but ( ṣūrhTi ), it’s the same possessive, but the T is visible now, because its no longer at the end . |
| to say ( our ) , it will be ( صورتنا, ṣūritna ), we did the same thing, added the ( t ), then the ( na ) for our . |
| we also changed the sound a little bit, by adding a small ( i ) before it, this will come natural to you with time , as there is no specific rule on when to do it , you need to learn it by hearing and talking. |
| If we are using the second person pronoun for ( Your ) for masculine and feminine, |
| The same rule will be applied , we will add our possessive, with the ( t ) sound before ). |
| for addressing a male - your photo will be ( ṣūrtak ) |
| and for a female ( ṣūrtik ) |
| A tip, it’s easier to make the letter before the ( t ) silent, for smoother pronunciation. |
