Hi Hamid, Karen and Irma,
Your stories are inspiring! I am also always learning a language or another (sometimes two at a time haha) and I always admire people with passion for languages!

😄 Thanks for resources available. I love learning languages but mostly like to learn Swedish (in addition to Persian, English and Arabic) to expand circle of people I can communicate friendly.
I want to learn URDU, even after 20 years of marriage I still am unable to talk to my elderly mother in law. It's on the back burner now as I am taking Arabic lessons one on one. I have noticed Urdu is close in some ways to Arabic. It would be a lovely surprise to call my Appa and talk to her for 5 minutes.
I've been studying French off and on for years, mostly on my own. Arabic is a big stretch since I've only studied and speak two Romance Languages and English.
